JAM Dance Fitness
JAM Dance Fitness is an aerobic exercise class formatted similar to Zumba, which offers our own original choreography to fun popular songs. Routines are repetitive, and generally easy to follow. Set to a varied playlist- fun favorites of the house that will make you want to move to the beat. Styles including Latin, Hip Hop, Disco, Belly dance, Funk, R&B and more will get the party shaking, and burn massive calories. Learn fun easy steps you can take with you to any dance floor. All fitness/dance levels and abilities welcome. Medium impact. The dance party is in full effect at Synergy and they’re playing our JAM!
A fun fusion of jazz, aerobics and many other dance styles set to upbeat music designed to increase cardiovascular fitness and dance skills. Warm up focuses on improving balance, coordination and strength through various dance-conditioning exercises. New original routines start at the beginning of each month and the choreography of the dance number builds throughout the month. New students may join at anytime. So much fun to be had!! You won’t find a class like this elsewhere. Dance experience helpful.
This 45-minute class begins with a short dancers warm-up/stretch and then goes right into a short piece of choreography set to a specific song and in a different dance style each month.
Dance styles include Broadway, Fosse, Contemporary, Classic Jazz, Lyrical, Latin…
Each month a different adventure starts and concludes!
Intermediate skill level. Dance experience required.
Ballet Basics for Beginners
This adult class will introduce you to the basic fundamentals of the art of classical ballet. Beginning with barre work, followed by simple open floor and across the floor combinations. If you’ve always wanted to learn ballet or you just want to refine your technique, this is the class for you!
Level II Beginning Ballet
Begins with extensive barre work, followed by open floor and across the floor combinations. Ending in reverence. Previous experience and knowledge of ballet fundamentals required for this class.
Includes barre work followed by open floor and across the floor combinations. Ending in reverence. This class is more challenging and faster paced than beginner and beginner level II classes.
